How do I become an Engineer?

In order to to practice engineering in Canada, an engineer must be licensed. Engineering is a self-regulated profession and as such engineers are licensed by the provincial or territorial regulatory body where they work. Once they are licensed, they can then use their province’s associated title, typically P.Eng.. Below is an overview of what you need to do to become an engineer.

Engineers require a university degree in an engineering discipline - which comes with entrance requirements - research & take all the courses you'll need to keep the engineering door open for you.
